Category: History In response to a post over at Diogenes' Lamp entitled The special beauty of industry and decay I have produced this short photo essay. This is a drawing of the West Coburg Progress hall from the book Coburg, Between Two Creeks by Richard Broome: It operated as a cinema for many years from 1927. I think it stopped being a cinema in the early 1990's. It is now a dance studio.
