Category: History This picture of the crowning of The Queen of Manufactures in the Brunswick centenary year of 1939 includes my aunt. It's amazing what you can find on the internet. I found this stuff doing a search for something independent and the Picture Victoria site has some great stuff but it doesn't seem to be easily accessible from the front page. More pictures from the Moreland library collection can be found in a fairly unfriendly format here (just click on any of the ".html" filenames. Other collections are here with a couple of click throughs until you find those ".html" files. Give it a go! UPDATE: What about this one of the 1945 Box Hill GF winning team? Recognise anyone there, Jack? |
