I don't have to tell readers of TramTown what I think of these dodgy conference attendees but, given that these goons are predicting what they think might be the case in 2100, I would expect them to be asked how much respect they would give to predictions of scientists from, say, 1908. Imagine opining to a scientist from the university up by the Haymarket that Melbourne might have a population of 3.8 mill by 2007. HIS response would probably be "What will we do with all the horse shit?". Technology Is Not Driven by Poor Predictions from the Past™. |
