Category: Football I just saw the end of one of the closest aussie rules games in my memory. Description: Burgers 1 point up at the 31 minute mark. There is a turnaround and Box Hill have the ball and move it up the park. At about the 50, around 20° off the corridor, a Box Hill player gets control of the ball. The siren sounds. Burgers fans cheer! Just a moment, though, the ball was off the boot just before the siren. The siren finishes with the ball still in the air. We watch as the ball sails through. Umpires have multiple meetings and, seemingly minutes later, the man in the lab coat sticks up two. Box Hill Mustangs by 5! |
